About the Role

As Director of Growth Strategy, you will advance the structure, performance, and sophistication of our sales organization. This is not a maintenance role. It is an acceleration role.

You will master our products, positioning, pipeline dynamics, and performance data. You will understand where revenue is gained, where it breaks down, and how to optimize it.

You will coach in the details while thinking at scale.

Your mandate is to drive performance, sharpen positioning, align execution cross-functionally, and develop high-level sales professionals.

What You’ll Do

Product Positioning & Sales Enablement

• Develop deep fluency across all product lines and cross-sell strategy
• Refine sales messaging, pitch frameworks, and positioning strategy
• Standardize high-impact templates and objection-handling playbooks
• Strengthen how we articulate value and differentiate in the market
• Ensure the team is fluent not just in product knowledge, but in how to win with it
• Serve as escalation point for complex or high-value opportunities
• Lead rollout strategy and internal training for new products and initiatives we introduce to the market
• Equip and train the team to confidently position and drive adoption of newly launched offerings

Revenue & Performance Leadership

• Own forecasting accuracy, pipeline discipline, and activity standards
• Establish clear metrics and enforce structured accountability
• Identify conversion gaps and refine processes to improve close rates
• Align revenue targets with operational capacity
• Assist with lead generation initiatives and oversee structured lead distribution across the sales team to ensure efficiency and performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to align revenue strategy with company-wide initiatives
• Partner with Marketing on demand generation efforts and campaign execution
• Ensure alignment between sales growth and operational delivery capacity

Coaching & Talent Development

• Conduct structured 1:1s, call reviews, and pipeline sessions
• Build individualized development plans
• Raise standards around preparation, professionalism, and follow-through
• Model prospecting, positioning, and closing excellence

• A true revenue operator who understands pipeline math, sales psychology, and performance drivers
• Strong analytical instincts with the ability to translate data into decisive action
• Deep commitment to product mastery and disciplined execution
• Experience leading high-performing teams in growth environments
• Executive presence with the confidence to challenge and elevate
• Player-coach mentality — strategic but hands-on
• Insurance or adjacent industry experience preferred
