What We're Looking For

• Polished, professional communication skills
• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience with strong working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
• High proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Google Workspace, and overall comfort with technology
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; business or college degree is a plus
• Professional presentation and positive attitude
• Handles confidential financial and customer information with professionalism and discretion
• A dependable, steady work ethic that can be counted on to see things through

Responsibilities

• Enter daily deposits, sales, and journal entries into QuickBooks
• Enter customer and order information into our customer management software
• Assist with sales tax reporting
• Process emails from vendors, suppliers, customers, and team members
• Manage incoming business mail
• Monitor product orders from placement through delivery and proactively follow up with vendors to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain organized customer and vendor files
• Review sales paperwork for completeness and accuracy before processing customer orders
• Prepare order paperwork for approval
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed while protecting the reputation of the company and our customers
• Handle confidential customer and financial information with accuracy and discretion
