Remote Bookkeeper / Must Live in Phoenix

About the Role

We are hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to process the daily flow of financial transactions. You will be a key player in ensuring our data is accurate and our internal teams are supported. This role requires someone who is organized, accurate, proactive, a clear communicator, with strong technical skills (QuickBooks Desktop, Google spreadsheets, and customer websites).

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable: Enter and pay vendor bills.
• Shipping Bills: Pay shipping bills and add shipping to customer invoices.
• Expense Reports: Process employee expense reports.
• Credit Card: Enter credit card and match to receipts and expense reports.
• Customer Onboarding: Set up new customers and assist with customer websites.
• Invoicing: Generate invoices, resolve billing issues, credits etc.
• Reconciliation: Assist with monthly reconciliations.
• Other Duties: as assigned by the Controller.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role. Accounting AA or BA preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel is required.
• Problem-Solving: You enjoy resolving problems, and ensure data is accurate.
• Communication: Communicate with team members to gather information in a professional and helpful manner.
• Other: Must be very organized, self-motivated, and be able to keep up with the pace of work.

Pay: $24.00 - $33.00 per hour
