Director of Finance (EMIRATI)

This is a senior finance leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to lead financial reporting, controlling, and tax functions while driving strong governance, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making within a complex organisation.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢 𝐬

-Lead financial reporting and consolidation activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial information in line with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

-Oversee financial controls, governance frameworks, and reporting processes to strengthen transparency and financial discipline.

-Manage external audit processes, coordinating with auditors and ensuring successful completion of audit requirements.

-Provide strategic oversight on tax planning, compliance, and financial risk management while supporting business objectives.

-Drive improvements across finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and decision-making.

-Lead and develop finance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

-Professional qualification such as CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.

-12+ years of experience across financial reporting, accounting, financial controls, and tax management.

-Strong expertise in IFRS, financial consolidation, and regulatory reporting requirements.

-Experience leading finance functions within complex organisations or large-scale environments.

-Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
