Purchase Head

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and services.

Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate with local and international suppliers.

Optimize procurement costs, inventory levels, and supplier performance.

Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and import-export regulations.

Lead and develop the procurement team while driving continuous process improvements.

Requirements

8–12 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

MBA in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor management, ERP systems, inventory planning, and import-export processes.

Excellent negotiation, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
