Electrical Engineer [ MEP Design ]

We are seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer to join our Engineering Consultancy Office. The candidate will be responsible for the design, review, and supervision of electrical systems for a variety of building and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Calculations:
• Prepare electrical design drawings (lighting, power, low current, fire alarm systems).
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop, short circuit analysis.
• Prepare single line diagrams and technical specifications.
• Codes & Standards Compliance:
• Ensure designs meet local authority regulations (FEWA).
• international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NEC).
• Coordination & Collaboration:
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers for project requirements and approvals.
• Site Support & Supervision:
• Review and approve electrical shop drawings and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections and issue inspection reports.
• Provide technical support during project execution and solve on-site issues.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in design and supervision within an engineering consultancy office.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, Etap (or equivalent software).
• Familiar with UAE electrical regulations and approval processes.
• Strong knowledge of low voltage & low current systems.
• Good communication skills and team player.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
