Location: Midvale, UT

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: Contract (Approx. 3 Months and Extendable)

Work Setting: On-Site

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Midvale, UT. This role is ideal for candidates with strong, hands-on Accounts Payable experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to accuracy, customer service, and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Verify invoice details and perform data validation and error correction.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Process vendor payments and maintain supplier records.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and vendor issues.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Support vendor setup and updates within the accounting system.
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
• Utilize accounting systems and reporting tools to manage daily workload.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Assist with clerical and administrative tasks, including documentation and scheduling, as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Recent, hands-on Accounts Payable experience is required.
• Experience with invoice processing, purchase order matching, and reconciliations.
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Comfortable working with dual monitors in a high-volume environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• College-level coursework in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, PeopleSoft, or similar accounting software.
