Sales Manager - Manufacturing

We’re searching a Sales Manager to join our client, a fast-growing European chemical manufacturer leading the way in sustainable construction solutions.

This role is ideal for a highly entrepreneurial individual who’s ready to take ownership and help shape the company’s footprint in the UK as part of a pioneering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow and manage relationships with customers and distributors across the UK.
• Identify, onboard, and train new partners in both established and emerging regions.
• Promote a portfolio of innovative binder solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial support to installers, ensuring they’re equipped and connected with the right distribution channels.
• Drive market development through strategic initiatives such as presentations to specifiers, participation in trade events, and targeted outreach.
• Monitor industry trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to inform strategy.

Candidate Profile

• Proven track record in sales within the manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or construction materials sector.
• Skilled in developing distributor networks and managing customer relationships.
• Technical aptitude or familiarity with insulation and construction systems is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Self-motivated, well-organised, and results-oriented.
• A second European language and regional flexibility are strong assets but not a necessity.
