Inside Sales / Customer Service Rep (Electrical Products)

Position: Inside Sales Rep - Industrial / Commercial Electrical Products

Salary: $55,000 - 65,000 / Year

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Permanent Full-time Position

Seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative for an electrical equipment distributor (Industrial and Commercial equipment). The position would involve working closely with clients to determine current and future needs for equipment, The position would be a mix of handling day to day orders/transactions as well as quoting larger project, getting pricing and availability, sourcing hard to find items, expediting orders and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service and handling high volumes of customer orders
• Providing product information, availability, pricing, delivery times, etc.
• Attending joint sales calls with outside sales team and clients as well as occasionally travelling with sales reps and meeting clients in person.
• Gaining new accounts and expanding business territory
• Quoting projects/bids, providing estimates, dealing with suppliers
• Preparing sales reports, tracking sales stats, and reviewing monthly/quarterly with the sales manager

High School Diploma is required, Post Secondary is an asset

Class 5 License Required

Candidates should have a strong knowledge of electrical equipment and the client base involved in generating new business. ELECTRICAL PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST HAVE!
