Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to lead the delivery of software and systems-integration projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in software development or engineering, enabling them to work effectively with technical teams, challenge proposed solutions, and translate business requirements into deliverable technical outcomes.

This Dublin city centre-based role requires strong experience managing third-party vendors, designing and implementing system integrations, and working with integration platforms. Experience with Salesforce and relevant Salesforce certifications would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software and integration projects from discovery and planning through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Manage third-party software vendors, implementation partners, and consultants, ensuring they meet agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Define project plans, delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, and success measures.
• Work with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and vendors to gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and maintainable integrations between internal and external systems.
• Coordinate API development, data mapping, middleware configuration, testing, release planning, and data migration activities.
• Evaluate integration approaches and contribute to technical decisions relating to architecture, platforms, security, and data flows.
• Identify and resolve technical, commercial, and delivery risks before they affect project outcomes.
• Facilitate project governance, including status reporting, steering meetings, decision logs, RAID management, and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate system, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Promote effective delivery practices and continuous improvement across internal teams and external partners.

Skills

• Significant experience managing software implementation, systems-integration, or digital transformation projects.
• Proven experience managing third-party vendors and systems integrators in complex delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience implementing integrations between enterprise applications, cloud services, and external platforms.
• Strong understanding of APIs, web services, authentication, middleware, data mapping, event-driven integration, and integration testing.
• Experience working with an integration platform such as Mule
• Soft, Boomi, Workato, Azure Logic Apps, Informatica, or a comparable technology.
• Previous experience in software development, engineering, technical consulting, or another strongly technical role.
• Ability to understand solution designs and communicate effectively with developers, architects, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, governance, and dependency management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.A track record of delivering projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Desirable Experience
• Experience delivering Salesforce implementations or Salesforce integration projects.
• Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer, Integration Architect, or Application Architect..Familiarity with modern software-release processes.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or an equivalent qualification.
