About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to coach teams and leaders in effective Agile practices and advise as a subject matter expert, as needed, to drive and reinforce effective Agile transformation across the organization.

The Role will be responsible for operationalising the Global Agile Blueprint; defining and establishing agile structures, roles, processes to create the conditions for better customer and employee outcomes. This role is pivotal in driving the shift towards a lean, responsive enterprise, fostering a culture of autonomy, and optimizing the IT value stream for speed and safety.

Lead the Agile transformation by leveraging the Agile Blueprint as a guide for the Allianz Technology’s Agile journey. Ensuring that all teams are following the blue print and any exceptions in processes, tools or roles are documented.

Set up, maintain and adapt agile structures that support the development of high-performing teams and the organization's strategic goals.

Lead the Agile journey from the perspective of mindset and culture – taking the organisation beyond roles, responsibilities, structures, and artefacts to Agile capabilities, behaviours and leadership.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and align Agile roles according to the Agile Blueprint, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and efficient team dynamics.

Coach teams and leaders to establish, maintain and refine Agile processes and tools that contribute to the success of delivery and the organisation, including the systematic elimination of waste and the optimization of workflows.

Establish the Governance Structures process, connected to the demand management of Allianz Australia, aligned to the Group’s Agile Framework.

Be an ambassador for Agile and the Agile Blueprint, within and outside the team, by providing advice to leaders, managers and delivery teams to support company, team and individual performance development.

Champion technical excellence and the continuous improvement of processes, tools, and techniques to drive innovation and efficiency.

Facilitate the organization-wide shift from ‘Project-to-Product’ and the implementation of a DevOps culture, rethinking organizational structures, IT governance, and ITSM practices to enhance speed, quality, safety and learning.

Provide organisation-wide training and ongoing guidance for the tailored application of Agile methodologies, including SCRUM, Kanban, and others, as appropriate for the context.

About you

Min. 2 years in a hands-on team-level role within an Agile team (e.g. Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developer, etc)Min. 5 years’ experience in a dedicated coaching role, working at a team-of-teams level working and with senior leadersExpert understanding of multiple Agile methodologies & frameworks, and adjacent disciplines, such as DevOps, Lean, Design/Product Thinking, or Beyond Budgeting.

Demonstrable experience leading multi-year Enterprise Agile transformation initiatives and contributing to organisational op model designsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to cultivate a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders across the organization.

• Demonstrable expertise as a Trainer including the design and delivery of training programs through ToT, and the use of interactive and hybrid approaches, knowledge of adult learning principles, and demonstrable expertise in facilitating training in a wide variety of contexts and formats
• Demonstrable expertise as a Facilitator, with the ability to draw on a large personal toolkit of facilitation techniques, and experience planning, orchestrating and facilitating complex workshops for large groups and/or groups of senior leaders
• Strong business acumen with a keen appreciation for working across, and connecting, tactical, operational and strategic layers and demonstrable experience supporting organizational planning cycles, portfolio management, and strategy development
• Advanced knowledge in Atlassian tooling including requirements planning, configuration and automation at an enterprise level.

Formal training and qualifications in recognised coaching methods, such as ICF, CEC, ICPCertified Agile trainer qualifications, such as PST, CST, AKTAdvanced knowledge of DevOps practices and principles or other technical domain expertise such as infrastructure-as-code, cloud technologies, etc.

• Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI tools to accelerate daily tasks, workflows and enhance team collaboration
• Formal training in applied change management methodologies
