Marketing Project Manager

Invested Talent is proud to partner with a leading player in the global FX and Payments business, known for simplifying how companies move money and manage payments across borders.

Headquartered in Sydney with offices across multiple international markets, they've built a reputation over decades as a trusted name in global finance and payments technology.

They're looking for an experienced Marketing Program Manager to join on a 12-month initial contract role, based in Sydney but with hybrid working arrangement.

This is a genuine ownership role, not a coordination one. You'll take charge of how marketing work gets planned, prioritised and delivered and make real impact during a time of huge transition in the business.

What you'll do

• Design and own the single intake process for marketing work
• Run the fortnightly marketing program review and maintain a live view of all initiatives and priorities
• Manage weekly check-ins with the highest volume teams between reviews
• Take full ownership of the most complex cross-functional initiatives, end to end
• Form and align the right working group for each initiative
• Maintain a clear, current view of tasks, owners and timelines
• Surface blockers early and drive resolution, escalating where needed
• Sequence and align all workstreams into launch
• Facilitate post-initiative retrospectives and capture learnings

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of marketing experience with strong go-to-market understanding
• Financial services or similarly regulated/complex industry background highly regarded
• Proven track record leading cross-functional projects across multiple stakeholders and seniority levels
• Confidence influencing without authority and holding people accountable
• Highly structured approach to project tracking (Asana or similar)
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, adapting as priorities shift
• Openness to using AI tools (Claude) to support program management processes
