FP&A Accountant

Barden are delighted to be engaged by a large, well-regarded Irish business in North Dublin, to hire an FP&A Accountant to join their growing finance team.

With flexible hybrid working, this role will suit a qualified accountant who is ambitious and looking for a broad role spanning FP&A and Financial Analysis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Having recently expanded through acquisition, the group is entering an exciting growth phase. This role will provide finance support to one of its recently acquired businesses, while working closely with the central commercial finance team — offering exceptional breadth across two parts of the group.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Delivering weekly reporting and period management accounts, with analysis of key trends and variances;Supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes;Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting internal and external audits;Providing commercial analysis and reporting, including support for tendering activity;Business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders across the group;Contributing to ongoing process improvement.ABOUT THE PERSON:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA);1-3+ years' experience in industry;Experience in financial modelling is advantageous;Concise and effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels;Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
