Senior Marketing Manager

Role Description

The Head of Marketing is a full-time, hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work from home. This role leads the development and execution of marketing strategies that strengthen Sandhurst’s brand, drive growth across retail and foodservice channels, and deepen engagement with key customer segments.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing market planning, guiding brand and campaign development, managing budgets, and coordinating cross-functional initiatives with sales, product, and operations teams. The Head of Marketing will analyze market trends and consumer insights, direct market research activities, and ensure consistent messaging across digital, print, trade, and public relations channels.

The role also involves mentoring the marketing team, managing agency and partner relationships, and reporting on campaign performance and ROI to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Market Planning and Marketing Management, including development and implementation of integrated marketing strategies.
• Strong experience in Market Research and consumer insights, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Proven track record in Sales collaboration, commercial acumen, and supporting channel growth through targeted marketing initiatives.
• Skilled in Public Relations, brand storytelling, and managing external communications to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
• Experience in FMCG, food, or consumer products sectors is highly advantageous, particularly within the Australian market.
• Leadership experience in managing and developing marketing teams, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; postgraduate qualifications are a plus.
