Operations Supervisor – Pilot CO₂ Capture & Liquefaction Plant

6-month fixed-term contract, full-time, site-based (Fujairah, UAE). Supports a time-bound pilot project demonstrating safe, reliable, industrial-scale CO₂ capture and liquefaction operations.

Role

• Supervise daily plant operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and performance targets
• Oversee operators/contractors during shifts; manage start-up, shutdown, and mode transitions
• Monitor and optimize process conditions (pressure, temperature, flow, purity)
• Enforce HSE compliance: toolbox talks, permit-to-work, PPE, incident investigation
• Record operational data, shift handovers, and performance reports
• Coordinate sampling, troubleshooting, and liaison across engineering/maintenance/project teams and contractors

Requirements

• 10+ years in industrial gas, petrochemical, or process plant operations
• Proven supervisory/leadership experience
• Bachelor's/diploma in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Strong HSE and risk management knowledge
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
