Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating expertise in food preparation, handling, and safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for menu development, team management, and maintaining high standards of hospitality within our restaurant.

Duties

• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food service and high-quality meal preparation.
• Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure a cohesive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock for food preparation.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff to promote professional growth and development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food service or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Creative flair for menu design and an understanding of current culinary trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
